Hey there guys! It’s Cataleya here, and today we’re going to learn about a bird that flies through the winter sky majestically… the Snowy Owl! ❄️🦉

Here are 5 cool facts:

  1. Snowy owls have feathers on their feet! It looks like they’re wearing stylish winter shoes to keep warm.

  2. They have a wingspan of 4–5 feet! That means their wings are taller (or wider) than me!

  3. Boy snowy owls are mostly pure white, while girl snowy owls are white with black stripe-like patterns on their bellies.

  4. Snowy owls are one of the only owls that hunt during the daytime!

  5. The oldest known snowy owl lived to be 23 years old! River could live longer… (not bragging) 😉

I love snowy owls!! Their small beaks and puffy look make them look like giant feathered marshmallows! I wish I could see one in real life, but I live in Florida

where it does not snow… oh well! Maybe someday! 🤍❄️
