Hey there guys! Its Cataleya here and today we are going to learn about a bird that can mimic any sound in the world! The Lyrebirds!
Here are 5 facts:
1. They can mimic almost any sound in the world! From jackhammers to
Crying babies, they can do almost anything!
2. They have 16 tail feathers! That’s a lot of feathers for a tail! Or at least to River. (Spoiler alert, he has zero)
3. They usually don’t fly. They walk on the floor and forage on the ground for insects.
4. There are two species: the Superb Lyrebird and the Albert's Lyrebird.
5. They usually don’t fly because they aren’t very good flyers. Instead, they walk on the forest floor and forage for insects.
Lyrebirds are so cool! It’s so cool how they can make any sound! except when you are camping and you hear a baby cry in the middle of the night. Then it's not so cool 😅
