🖤 The Clever Common Raven 🖤

Hi guys! It’s Cataleya, and today we’re doing two articles for real this time! 😄Last week I said I’d save one for later… but I totally forgot! So today we’re learning about two Halloween birds, starting with the Common Raven!

Here are five facts:

1. The Common Raven is an amazing flier. They can do flips, rolls, and even fly upside down for more than half a mile! Wow he must’ve been super dizzy after that!😵‍💫💫

   
   

2. Ravens can mimic the calls of other birds, and if they’re raised by people, they can even copy human words! (And here I thought only parrots could talk!)

   
   

3. Ravens are scavengers, which means they eat all kinds of things even other birds’ eggs.

   
   

4. I watch a show about two eagles, Jackie and Shadow, and some ravens came

   and ate their eggs. It made the eagles sad…😢 but I guess the ravens were just trying to survive!

   
   

5. Ravens are super smart they can solve puzzles, remember faces, and even play tricks on other animals!
