🐦 5 Facts About: Indian Ringnecks!
1. The Ringneck Parrot also has a fancy name: the Rose-ringed Parakeet!
2. They like to build their nests inside holes -
either in trees or sometimes even in buildings.
3. Ringnecks live in lots of places across Asia and Africa.
4. Even though they love fruits, Ringnecks are known to sneak snacks from bird feeders. Their absolute favorite treat? PEANUTS! (Just like my bird, River!)
5. Most Indian Ringnecks lay 3–4 eggs, but sometimes they surprise us and lay up to 6!

Can you guess why I love Ringnecks so much? RIVER!!!He’s my pet bird and he’s an Indian Ringneck! I love him soooo much! Even though he has no feathers on his belly (yep, a little bald there!), he’s still the cutest thing in the world to me.

And yep, like I said in fact #4, his favorite food is unsalted peanuts!
