Here are 5 facts:

1. They are one of the largest sparrows, at about 5.9 – 6.7 inches long! (Ignore 67 💀)

2. Java Sparrows like to preen each other’s feathers, and they will take baths multiple times a

day! 😂

3. They are endangered because of habitat loss and the pet trade. They are too cute to go extinct noooo 😓

4. There are actually more Java Sparrows living as pets than there are living in the wild!

5. They are sometimes called “Rice Birds” because they LOVE to eat rice and have been known to steal people’s rice. 💀

They are SOOOO cute and fluffy, and tbh I kindaaa want one as a pet…
