The Bird That Knows Karate 😭Meet The Secretarybird!

Hey there guys! It’s Cataleya here and today we are going to learn about a bird that is so stealthy, stomps snakes, and seems like a karate fighter that turned into a bird! 😭

Here are 5 facts:

1. This bird HATES snakes 😭 They stomp them kind of like how you would stomp a bug.

   
   

2. They can fly, but they like to walk instead.

   
   

3. They occasionally prey on larger mammals such as hedgehogs, mongooses, small felids like cheetah cubs, striped polecats, young gazelles, and both young and full-grown hares. Wow, they eat BIG meals it seems!

   
   

4. They’re REALLY tall for a bird of prey (around 4 feet tall!)

   
   

5. They look so epic! Also, they kind of look like Sandhill Cranes, but with long feathers on their head!
