Hi guys! Itās Cataleya, and today weāre going to learn about a bird that looks like it just flew out of a rainbow the Rainbow Bee-eater! With its sparkly green, blue, and golden feathers, this bird is one of the most colorful in the whole world. And guess what? Itās not just pretty itās also a pro at catching insects. In fact, it can snatch bees right out of the air!

Here are 5 amazing facts about Rainbow Bee-eaters:
š Rainbow Bee-eaters love eating venomous bees and wasps but donāt worry, theyāre clever! They remove the stingers and squeeze out the venom first before munching.
š One bird can gobble up to 300 bees or wasps in a single day. Talk about an appetite! (there must be a lot of bees where they live!)
šŖ Theyāre so strong that they can even take down wasps as big as their own heads.
š¢ Young Rainbow Bee-eaters are mostly green. As they grow up, they earn their black chest band and long tail streamers.
š” The female digs a tunnel sometimes as long as 1 whole meter into a sandy cliff or riverbank. At the end, she makes a cozy nesting chamber for 3 to 7 eggs. The dad helps by feeding her and also takes turns keeping the eggs warm.
