Bourke's Parrot: The Cutest Pink Parrot!

Hello my fluffy feathers and fancy flight fans!! It's Cataleya here, and today we are going to learn about a bird that is so cute and pink: Bourke's Parrot! Wait... is Bourke the owner? Nope! This little parrot just has a name that sounds like someone's pet! 😂

Here are 5 facts:

1. They are also called grass parakeets or sundown parrots.

   
   

2. The males have a blue stripe above their beaks. The females don't.

   
   

3. They are very quiet. They mostly make soft chirps, making them great for apartment living if you want a bird. 😄

   
   

4. They don't fly very much. Instead, they spend a lot of time foraging on the ground.

   
   

5. They can learn to speak if you train them, but it's REALLY hard!

   
   

I think they look so cute! Also, Bourke's Parrot sounds like something that would be in a video game. 😂
